We worked on three seperate refurbishments with Arriva, one with their head office in the office space and two with their bus canteens, we are also working on more arriva roles.
As part of a challenging programme of canteen refurbishments for Arriva London, Cupaz carried out a complete strip-out and refurbishment of the Croydon Garage catering facility, completing a 5 week programme on time and to budget.
The work included a complete strip-out of the existing facility and creating an "industrial look" with spraying the exposed ceiling slab, installation of exposed services with galvanised cable trays and conduit, plastering and decoration, flooring, lighting design and implementation. Installation of bespoke roller blinds and furniture, specifically designed for long term use in a robust environment.
Arriva were using Cupaz to fit out and supply furniture to a high number of bus depots and Arriva offices in and outside the M25. After being impressed by the high level of quality of Cupaz’ work, Arriva invited us to get involved in a tender to fit out and supply the furniture for a high quality office, which now houses their Directors. After creating a thorough scope of works and a detailed furniture specification, Cupaz created detailed 3D render of the proposed office.
Our tender submission was successful and our installation teams moved into the building in order to complete the works. The building provided its own challenges due to its unique pentagonal shape. Arriva and Cupaz were looking to create an office that would incorporate the shell of the structure and create a functional private office for the Directors.
We suggested glass screens to create pod offices and meeting rooms. This way the building would keep its innovative pentagonal design by keeping the sight lines clear in the office and offer a flexible option for future moves. The glass screens separating the single offices and the meeting rooms were acoustic, preventing noise transfer into and between the offices.
