Arriva were using Cupaz to fit out and supply furniture to a high number of bus depots and Arriva offices in and outside the M25. After being impressed by the high level of quality of Cupaz’ work, Arriva invited us to get involved in a tender to fit out and supply the furniture for a high quality office, which now houses their Directors. After creating a thorough scope of works and a detailed furniture specification, Cupaz created detailed 3D render of the proposed office.
As part of a challenging programme of canteen refurbishments for Arriva London, Cupaz carried out a complete strip-out and refurbishment of the Croydon Garage catering facility, completing a 5 week programme on time and to budget.
Having helped The Durkan Group move from Barnet to Waltham Cross in the year 2000, Cupaz were delighted to help them relocate to a new HQ in Borehamwood 14 years later. Working closely with the Architect and the Durkan in-house design team, we explored the option of re-utilising existing furniture, before the decision was made to go with new bench desking, seating and storage throughout.
Scope of Works included Design and specification of office layouts, Reconfiguration of existing glazed partitioning, Silicone jointed partitioning , Tape and jointed partitioning, Operable wall system, Storage wall and Misc Storage, Flooring: Interface carpet tiles and vinyl safety flooring, Creation of kitchen & tea point areas, supply of furniture including Bench desking, Executive / Meeting furniture and Reception furniture.
As part of the overall modernisation of a character building, Cupaz and IGD faced many challenges not least the Reception Area. In a limited space, a bespoke, shallow curved design was required to create an area to accommodate two receptionists, without compromising floorspace in a busy entrance.
