Great space planning makes a great office
Space planning may not be the most exciting part of designing a new office, but it’s one of the most crucial. Making sure you have space for the less design-led elements, like storage, filing cabinets and rubbish bins, will make a real difference in how functional and effective your space will be.
Space planning helps you to visualise exactly how your space will work for you – do certain teams need more privacy, or do you want a collaborative area? Do you want formal meeting rooms, breakout areas, or a combination? Do you need to fit more people into your existing space, or do you want to adapt your current layout to provide better sightlines throughout the office?
Starting with space planning helps create an office that works the way your business does – naturally providing an environment that can evolve as needed.
The process then runs as follows:
- We’ll send you a range of designs, ideas and scenarios
- We’ll revise those plans based on your feedback, working closely with you to ensure the plans will meet your needs. After some final tweaks, because there are always final tweaks, we’ll provide a quotation for the work and discuss implementation and scheduling with you.
- Once the fit out begins we’ll project manage all of the works, minimising disruption and making sure you get the best possible service from our implementation teams and suppliers.
- Your project manager will be on hand during the process, not only to ensure high quality workmanship but also to keep the project running to time. They’ll be in regular contact with you to manage any issues and keep you apprised of progress.
Once your new space is finished and signed off we don’t just leave you to it. We’ll continue to be available to address any issues, or follow up on anything you need.
